Packaging Specialists
Diamond's Technical Team, comprised of printing, finishing and research and development (R&D) specialists, is dedicated to providing innovative and more sustainable packaging solutions.
Diamond also regularly assists customers on maximizing productivity of their filling lines. To better understand their needs, members of the team visit the customer’s site to gain an understanding of how we might improve productivity. Our design staff supports these efforts by constantly refining and adjusting packaging structures to optimize filling speeds. Through our exposure to various production lines, in numerous markets around the globe, we are able to cross apply our knowledge to benefit all of our customers.
Packaging Launches
Diamond has assisted in designing and developing packaging for many product launches. We continually exceed our customers’ design expectations and often “push the envelope” in developing new processes. Examples include the Gillette Fusion ProGlide and Gillette for Women Venus shaving systems, and Shania by Stetson fragrance.
Package Testing
Diamond maintains a close relationship with the Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) through our mutual involvement with lecture series, co-op programs and hiring of graduates from their School of Packaging Science. Furthermore, all of our designers have served, or currently serve as, adjunct professors in RIT’s Packaging Science program. We also have access to their state-of-the-art equipment, which is capable of performing a multitude of package analysis including vibration, compression and shock testing.
